Siobhan Stagg (soprano)
Originally from Mildura, Siobhan moved to Melbourne five years ago to pursue a music career. After graduating with an Honours degree in Music Performance from the University of Melbourne in 2009, Siobhan has continued to train privately on scholarship from the Dame Nellie Melba Opera Trust. This year she performed the role of Cleopatra in the Australian premiere of ‘Marc Antonio e Cleopatra’ (J.A.Hasse) for the National Gallery of Victoria. She is increasingly in demand as a concert soloist and later this year will perform with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra and the Australian National Academy of Music before heading to New York City for two months in January 2012.
